Sony has launched its latest 85-inch 8K smart TV called Sony Z8H in India for Rs 13,99,990. With minimalist design, the Sony Z8H comes with thin bezels and focuses on cinema experience. Sony is in fact calling its Z8H smart television 'PS5 ready'.
The Sony Z8H comes with Picture Processor X1 to provide crisp images with high contrast. With 8K resolution, users will get to see "4 times more pixels than in a 4K TV". Even the images filmed in 4K and 2K resolutions will be upscaled close to 8K by 8K X-Reality PRO using an 8K database. The refresh rate of the new Sony 8K Z8H smart TV can go up to 120Hz.
Display
Sony's Z8H with a full-array LED-backlit display along with X-tended Dynamic Range PRO with local dimming. The TRILUMINOUS display, which produces a wide range of colours, supports HDR 10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
Smart Apps
The Sony Z8H Android TV have been support more than 5000 apps and games from Google Play. The smart television also supports streaming platforms including YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Video and Disney+ Hotstar. The Z8H also has a built-in voice assistant.
The built-in microphones on the TV allow users a hands-free experience where they can simply talk to the TV to search something, or to play TV shows, movies and many more.
