Master is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Xavier Britto under the banner of XB Film Creators, the company's first production. The film stars Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while cinematography and editing are performed by Sathyan Sooryan and Philomin Raj respectively. The film is scheduled to be released April 2020.

Production  

On 24 August 2019, director Lokesh Kanagaraj tweeted that he would be working with Vijay in a film delivered by Xavier Britto. Alongside the news, he uncovered a decent larger part of the team including Anirudh Ravichander as the music chief. The next week, the remainder of the cast was unveiled. Other cast increments included Malavika Mohanan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Antony Varghese the last making his Tamil presentation. Head photography started with a conventional pooja (petition service) on 3 October 2019.Varghese later dropped out of the undertaking, refering to booking clashes. He was later supplanted by Arjun Das.  On 4 October 2019, Aadai director Rathna Kumar posted on Twitter that he was co-composing the screenplay for this undertaking alongside Lokesh.

Release date
